Meet Sophia Sodano, TLLP
Sophia believes that the best treatment plans are the ones built together. By aligning her approach with her clients' goals, she helps foster stronger, healthier relationships. She enjoys working alongside clients to support them in showing up authentically and living life in line with their values.
When providing therapy, Sophia integrates various therapeutic tools, such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent Management Training (PMT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and humanistic therapy to help her clients grow and thrive. She supports children, teens, adults, and parents managing a range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to neurodevelopmental and trauma-related concerns. Working within the community is a passion of Sophia's, and she enjoys providing individual and group therapy, in addition to supporting individuals in gaining diagnostic clarity through neurodevelopmental evaluations.
Sophia is currently in her third-year of doctoral training at Eastern Michigan University. Beyond her clinical work, she researches how to improve care for children at risk for developing psychological concerns. Prior to her time at Eastern, Sophia attended Penn State, following which she went on to gain clinical and research experience at Bradly Hospital and Brown University Medical School.

When she isn’t working, you can find Sophia at a local fitness class, playing with her puppy, or trying out new restaurants across Michigan.

Sophia is supervised by Dr. Sepsey.
