

Meet Beccah O'Brien, MS, TLLP
Beccah’s approach as a therapist is grounded in authenticity and empathy. She strives to provide a nonjudgmental space where each person’s unique story is heard and valued. She utilizes an integrated, evidence-based approach to support children, adolescents, and adults healing from trauma, grief and loss, OCD, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, ASD, and chronic illness. Beccah is passionate about supporting her clients in their journey of growth and change, helping them recognize their own strengths and resilience.
Beccah earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Cultural Proficiency from San Diego State University. She completed her Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology and is currently an advanced Clinical Psychology doctoral student at Palo Alto University, specializing in trauma.
Beccah’s clinical work spans a variety of settings, including schools, university counseling centers, community mental health centers, and outpatient care. She has supported individuals of all ages, emphasizing a person-centered approach that prioritizes accessible and holistic care to help clients build the skills and confidence for lasting change.
In addition to supporting individuals and families at Meraki, Beccah is engaged in advanced training at the Vanderbilt University Counseling Center providing neuropsychological assessment and evaluations. She also serves as the director of the Palo Alto Addiction Research Center (PAARC Lab), which concentrates on substance use among college-aged individuals. Her primary research interests include adolescent psychopathology, intergenerational trauma, and substance use.

Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature, and attending live music events.
